It has come to our attention that some customers of The First Bank have received phishing or fraudulent text messages designed to prompt customers to click on a suspicious link to report a fraudulent e-payment on your account. If you receive such a message, report the text message and block the number as it is not a legitimate communication from The First. If you believe you have responded to a phishing text message and entered your online banking credentials, change your password or contact your local The First branch for assistance.
